In the spirit of the Kansas Jayhawks advancing to the 2018 Sweet 16 I thought I’d share a quick Emmaism.
Back in 2003, the first time we took her to my office in Jenks, OK she was five and we told her that this would be her room when she moved in. She sat there in a chair looking all around and said “You sure have a lot of peacocks.”
Peacocks? “No hunny. Those are Jayhawks.”
